ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਦੇ ਫੋਕਲ ਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਕੋਲ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਲਿਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ

ਪਿਊਨਾ ਪਾਵਰ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਦੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਜਬਰੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਖੋਹ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੇਲ੍ਹੀ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ,ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਭੈਣਾ ਤੇ ਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਖੋਹੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਸਤਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਉਥੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੇਲ੍ਹੀ ਸੁੱਟੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਝੋਰਾ ਵੱਢ ਵੱਢ ਖਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਘੇਰਾਬੰਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਪਿੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਨੇ ਨਾਕੇ ਲਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ,ਉਥੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਫੋਕਲ ਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਛਾਉਣੀ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਲਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਥਰਮਲ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਲਈ ਪਿਊਨਾ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੂੰ 850 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ ਰਕਬੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 694 ਏਕੜ ਰਕਬੇ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚੱੈਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਸਨ ਪਰੰਤੂ 166 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਰਕਬੇ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਊਨਾ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਰੀ ਨਾਂਹ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿਊਨਾ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਖਰੀਦ ਕੇ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲਟਕਦੀ ਦੇਖ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੀ.ਕੇ.ਯੂ. ਉਗਰਾਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਆਰੰਭਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਦੇ 166 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਧਰਨੇ ਮੁਜ਼ਾਹਰੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਰੇਲ ਰੋਕੋ ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਵੀ ਚਲਾਏ ਗਏ। ਸੜਕਾਂ ਵੀ ਜਾਮ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਥਰਮਲ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਲਈ ਐਕੁਆਇਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਕੰਢਿਆਲੀ ਤਾਰ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਕੰਢਿਆਲੀ ਤਾਰ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਸਮੇਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫਿਰ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਲਾਈਨ ‘ਤੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾਤੇਵਾਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਸਿਰਸੀਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਟਰੈਕ ਜਾਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਹਰਦਿਆਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ 166 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਰਕਬਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ 166 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਰਕਬਾ ਥਰਮਲ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਦੇ ਘੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਐਕੁਆਇਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਕੰਢਿਆਲੀ ਤਾਰ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੇ 166 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਰਕਬੇ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਲਿਸਟ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ । ਪਿਛਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ 166 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਰਕਬੇ ਦਾ ਬਦਲ ਲੱਭਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ। ਪਰੰਤੂ ਪਿਊਨਾ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੀ ਅੱਖ ਇਸੇ 166 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਰਕਬੇ ‘ਤੇ ਟਿਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ 23 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਚਾਰ ਜ਼ਿਲਿ੍ਹਆਂ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ 166 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵੀ ਜਬਰੀ ਰੋਕ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਕੰਢਿਆਲੀ ਤਾਰ ਲਗਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਸਬੰਧਤ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂੰਹ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਛਾਪੇ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਭੇਜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਸ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਹੁਣ ਮਰਨ ਮਾਰਨ ‘ਤੇ ਉਤਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਪਰੰਤੂ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਲੰਬਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਏਧਰ ਉਧਰ ਕਮਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਤੱਕ ਫਿਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਲਿਜਾ ਕੇ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਬਰੀ ਖੋਹੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਵਧਾਵਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਬੇਟੀ ਪਰਮਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੇੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ, ਭਰਾ, ਸਭ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਸਾਂਭਣ ਆਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। 26 ਤੋਂ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਖਾਮੋਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਉਂਕੇ ਹਾਵਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੂਬੀਆਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਫੋਕਲ ਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲੀਸ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਟ ਸਿਆਪਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਉਥੇ ਇਹ ਫਿਕਰਾਂ ਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਢਿੱਡੋ ਭੁੱਖੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਤਿਹਾਈਆਂ ਵੀ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ।

ਮਾਮਲਾ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੱਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਮੀਨ ਅਕਵਾਇਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ

ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਧੱਕੇਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਢਣ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ

ਮਾਨਸਾ ਜਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਕੰਪਨੀ 'ਪਿਊਨਾ ਪਾਵਰ' ਲਈ 880 ਏਕੜ ਜਮੀਨ, ਅੱਧੀ ਦਰਜਨ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਜਿਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਸ ਲਗਾ ਕੇ ਜਬਰੀ ਅਕਵਾਇਰ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ, ਬੁੱਢਿਆਂ, ਔਰਤਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਥਾਣਿਆਂ, ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਡੱਕਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਦਰਜਨਾਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਨ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਜੱਥਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੱਥੇ ਗਿਰਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਸਿਰੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਦਰਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਹ‍ੱਲਾ ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਅਮੋਲਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਕਲਾਬੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਕੰਵਲਜੀਤ ਖੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਜਮੂਹਰੀ, ਲੋਕ ਪੱਖੀ, ਅਗਾਂਹਵਧੂ ਜੱਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ਪਸੰਦ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗੈਰ-ਜਮੂਹਰੀ ਕਾਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਅਵਾਜ ਹੋਕੇ ਜਨਕਤ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ 'ਚ ਨਿੱਤਰਨ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਦੋਵੇਂ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਰਤਾਨਵੀ ਸਾਮਰਾਜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਕਦਮ ਅੱਗੇ ਵੱਧਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਸੁਪਰੀਮ ਕੋਰਟ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਦਰਜ ਮੌਲਿਕ ਨੇਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਘਾਣ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੋਈ, ਨੰਗਾ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਸਬੂਤ ਦੇ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿੱਧ ਨਾ ਹੋਕੇ ਅਸਲ 'ਚ ਦੇਸੀ-ਬਦੇਸੀ ਬਹੁ-ਕੌਮੀ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ, ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ ਘਰਾਣਿਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੁਲਕ ਦੀ ਜਮੀਨ, ਜੰਗਲ, ਜਲ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਸਰੋਤ ਪਰੋਸਣ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਜਾਰੇਦਾਰਾਂ, ਭੂ-ਮਾਫੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚ-ਪੁਲਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਦੀ ਕੱਠਪੁਤਲੀ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਦੋਹਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਰਲ-ਹਰਲ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਫਿਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਪੁਲਸ ਧਾੜਾਂ ਮਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨੰਨ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਛਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਪੇੜਾਂ ਮਾਰਨ, ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੱਥਾਂ 'ਚ ਜੁੜ ਬੈਠਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੜਾ-ਧੜ ਫੜ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਦਹਿਸ਼ਤਜ਼ਦਾ ਮਹੌਲ ਸਿਰਜ ਕੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਉੱਲੂ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੀਤੀ ਪਾਲ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਇਸਦਾ ਭੱਵਿਖ 'ਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਖਮਿਆਜਾ ਭੁਗਤਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।

ਲੋਕ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ

ਪਿੰਡ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਥਰਮਲ ਪਲਾਂਟ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਐਕੁਆਇਰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਮਰਦ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਲੋਕ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਖਤ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਹਿਰਾਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰਿਹਾਅ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਐਕੁਆਇਰ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ ਬੰਦ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।
ਲੋਕ ਮੋਰਚਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਪੁਸ਼ਪ ਲਤਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਜਮਹੂਰੀਅਤ ਕਹਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁਲਕ ਭਾਰਤ ‘ਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੈਰ-ਜਮਹੂਰੀ ‘ਤੇ ਤਾਨਾਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਬਰੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਖੋਹ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ ਰੋਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਰਵਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਐਕੁਆਇਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਸੋਧ ਹੋਰ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 117 ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 1894 ‘ਚ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ ਸਾਮਰਾਜੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਣਾਏ ਬਸਤੀਵਾਦੀ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ-ਮੋਹਰਾ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਪਿੰਡ ਗੋਬਿੰਦਪੁਰਾ ਤੇ ਸਿਰਸੀਵਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ 171 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਐਕੁਆਇਰ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਵੀ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਚਾਰਾਜੋਈ ਤੋਂ ਐਕੁਆਇਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਣਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਰਦ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੇਲ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਐਕੁਆਇਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਅਮਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਧਨਾਢ ਮਲਟੀਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਲਡਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਨਾਫੇ ਹੋਣੇ ਹਨ। ਗਰੇਟਰ ਨੋਇਡਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਕਰਨ ‘ਤੇ ਨੋਇਡਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਥਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ 1747 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਮੁਨਾਫੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਅਗਾਂਹ ਬਿਲਡਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਮੁਨਾਫੇ ਕਮਾਉਣੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਵਰਤਾਰਾ ਪੂਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ, ਐਕਸਪ੍ਰੈਸ ਵੇਅ, ਖਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੁਦਾਈ, ਥਰਮਲ ਪਲਾਂਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਇਕਨਾਮਿਕ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼, ਝਾਰਖੰਡ,ਬਿਹਾਰ,ਉੜੀਸਾ,ਪੱਛਮੀ ਬੰਗਾਲ,ਛੱਤੀਸਗੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਆਦਿ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵੇਦਾਂਤ,ਪਾਸਕੋ,ਮਿੱਤਲ,ਟਾਟਾ,ਬਾਟਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਵਾਲੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਖੀ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਲ ‘ਤੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਦਬਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਹੂ ਦੀ ਹੋਲੀ ਖੇਡ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪਿੰਡ ਤੱਪਲ, ਪਰਸੌਲ, ਪੱਛਮੀ ਬੰਗਾਲ ਦਾ ਸਿੰਗੂਰ, ਨੰਦੀਗ੍ਰਾਮ, ਬਿਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਰਤਨਪੁਰ ਤੇ ਭਜਨਪੁਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਖੰਨਾ ਚਮਾਰਾ, ਧੌਲਾ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਹੋਵੇ, ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤਾਂ ਦੇਣੀਆਂ ਪੈ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੋਰਚੇ ਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੀ ਪੁਰਜ਼ੋਰ ਹਮਾਇਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

DEMOCRATIC FRONT AGAINST OPERATION GREEN HUNT, HOLDS AN

ANTI REPRESSION CONVENTION AT RAMPURA

In the massive convention held at Rampura, the Democratic Front Against Operation Green Hunt (Punjab) gave a call to the people, especially the intellectuals to come forward to build a mass-based democratic rights movement in the state to expose and fight out the evil designs of anti-people forces, consisting of the State, liquor mafia, goonda gangs and police officials. who have engineered the arrest of Com Harbhinder Jalal in a false case; let loose a reign of repression on the residents of Selbrah & Kotra Kaurian Wala.

Held under the presidentship of noted Punjabi Dramatist Prof Ajmer Aulakh, the conference began with the songs of Jagseer Jeeda, filled with deep sarcasm against the State’s policies.

Noted story-writer and State Committee member of the Democratic Font, Attarjit asserted, citing details from the Fact Finding Report released by the Democratic Front regarding arrest of Com Harbhinder Jalal and attacks on the people of Selbrah & Kotra that the state has panicked over the rising tide of struggles opposing neo-liberal economic policies of the Govt. That is why it has put Harbhinder Jalal, editor of a revolutionary democratic paper “Chamkda Lal Tara” behind bars implicating him in false criminal case and unleashed brutal repression against the people of Selbrah & Kotra.

Advocate N.K.Jeet, addressing the gathering said that arrest, torture and false implication of Harbhinder Jalal in unlawful, terrorist & seditious activities, is violative of the legal principles lad down by the Supreme Court in Dr. Binayak Sen’s bail case and various other pronouncements. At Selbrah, while the person, who has openly admitted of selling illicit liquor for the last nine years, has not been even touched by the police, innocent people, including women, old & infirm persons were brutally beaten up, house hold articles were smashed, and food grain was wasted for opposing illegal sale of liquor. The police and civil administration has not trampled down the law under their feet and has followed the dictates of their political masters. He gave graphic details of the illegal acts of civil & police authorities at Selbrah, and anti people role of Akali politicians.

A very important part of the conference was an inspiring speech by Ms. Sabhjit, daughter of Com Harbhinder Jalal. She said, her father symbolizes a thought and not a person. And the thought can be incarcerated behind bars. She said her father has always worked and struggled for the emancipation of masses from exploitation and repression and she was proud of his sacrifices.

Dr. Parminder Singh (Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar), Co-convener of the Democratic Front, traced the background of intensified attacks on the livings and democratic rights of the people under the neo-liberal economic policies. He said the autocratic character of the state has become more sharp & naked under the economic police regime of Liberalization, Privatization & Globalization. He exhorted the intellectuals to join hands with the pro-people mass organizations to strengthen the democratic rights movement.

Yashpal, another Co-Convener of the Front also called upon the people to build a united peoples’ movement to defend democratic rights. Pritpal Singh moved resolutions demanding unconditional release of Harbhinder Jalal, and the 21 persons arrested at Selbrah; withdrawal of criminal cases registered against them; compensation to all those who suffered loss and damage to their houses and property at the hands of police, at village Selbrah ; closing of illegal liquor vend at Selbrah & Kotra; arrest of the members of liquor-mafia who made murderous attack on the activists of BKU & Punjab Khet Mazdoor Union.

Prof. Ajmer Aulakh, making his concluding remarks, called upon the people, especially the intellectuals to break the inertia and raise their voice in support of democratic rights of the people, particularly the right to organize and struggle for a better life, from all platforms, which is the need of the hour.

The conference was attended by hundreds of people from all walks of life, who heard the speakers with rapt attention, in scorching heat.

ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਰ 3 ਜੂਨ -ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ 17 ਮਜਦੂਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਕਾਲੀ-ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲਤ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਹੱਕੀ ਤੇ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਅੱਜ ਰਾਜ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੀਸਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੋਹ ਤੇ ਰੋਸ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਧਰਨੇ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਫੈਸਲਾਕੁੰਨ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਅਹਿਦ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਰਾਜ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਹੈੱਡ ਕੁਆਰਟਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਕੱਤਰ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਖੇਤ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾਈ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਲਛਮਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਵੇਵਾਲਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਝੂਠ ਤੇ ਮਜਦੂਰ-ਕਿਸਾਨ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ, ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ, ਔਰਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਰੋਸ ਧਰਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਵੀਂ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਰੋਸ ਧਰਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਜੋਗਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਗਰਾਹਾਂ, ਤਰਸੇਮ ਪੀਟਰ, ਬੂਟਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੁਰਜ ਗਿੱਲ ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਸਤਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲੀ-ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਵਾਅਦਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਫੇਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਮਰਾਜੀ ਮੁਲਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਨਿਰਮੂਲ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਖੋਹ ਕੇ ਕਿਰਤੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ, ਜਮੀਨਾਂ, ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਸਿਹਤ ਤੇ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੁਢਲੇ ਹੱਕ ਖੋਹ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਗਲਾ ਘੁੱਟਣ ਤੇ ਉਤਰ ਆਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਚਲਦਿਆਂ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਤੇ ਮਾਲੀਆ ਮੁਆਫ਼ੀ, ਸਬਸਿਡੀਆਂ, ਰਾਸ਼ਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਖੋਹੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਗੁਰਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾਊਦ, ਸੁਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਫੂਲ, ਕੰਵਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪਨੂੰ, ਹਰਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਤੇ ਜੋਰਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਸਰਾਲੀ ਨੇ ਰੋਸ ਧਰਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤੇ ਨਿੱਜੀਕਰਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੀਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਮਲੀ ਜਾਮਾ ਪਹਿਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਕੀ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਕਰਨ, ਜਬਰ ਤਸ਼ਦੱਦ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਤੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਭੰਨ-ਤੋੜ ਰੋਕੂ ਐਕਟ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਐਕਟ 2010 ਵਰਗੇ ਕਾਲੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਮਾਓਂ, ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਸੂਲਪੁਰ, ਸੰਜੀਵ ਮਿੰਟੂ, ਰੁਲਦੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨਸਾ, ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੰਗੂ, ਸਤਨਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਨੂੰ, ਮੱਘਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੁਲਰੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਹਰਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੇੜ੍ਹਾ ਆਦਿ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਖੇਤ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਿੱਲ ਜਾਤ-ਧਰਮ ਤੇ ਲੋਡ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਤ ਹਟਾ ਕੇ ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ, ਖੇਤੀ ਮੋਟਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਆਫ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਬਕਾਏ ਤੇ ਨਹਿਰੀ ਮਾਲੀਏ ਦੀ ਮੁਆਫ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ। ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਤੰਗੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਤਾਏ ਖੁਦਕੁਸ਼ੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ 5 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਮੁਆਵਜ਼ਾ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਦੇਣ, ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਪੱਖੀ ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਬਣਾਉਣ, ਕਾਲੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣ, ਬੇਘਰੇ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਸ ਮਰਲੇ ਦੇ ਪਲਾਟ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਦੇਣ, ਖੇਤੀ ਸਬਸਿਡੀਆਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਤੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ, ਆਬਾਦ ਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਪੱਕੇ ਮੁਜ਼ਾਰੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਮੀਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕੀ ਹੱਕ ਦੇਣ, ਜਬਰੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨਾਂ ਅਕਵਾਇਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨ, ਆਟਾ-ਦਾਲ ਸਕੀਮ 'ਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ, ਜਨਤਕ ਵੰਡ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਡਿਪੂਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਨ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ, ਮਨਰੇਗਾ ਸਕੀਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਾਲਗ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ 200 ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿਹਾੜੀ 'ਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਾਲ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਕੰਮ ਦਾ ਬਕਾਇਆ ਦੇਣ, ਸਾਰੇ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਬ ਕਾਰਡ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੁਰਜ਼ੋਰ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਦੋਲਨਕਾਰੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ 'ਚ ਦਰਜ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਰਚੇ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਸਾਧੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਤਖ਼ਤੂਪੁਰਾ, ਪ੍ਰਿਥੀਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੱਕ ਅਲੀਸ਼ੇਰ ਤੇ ਖੰਨਾ-ਚਮਾਰਾ ਦੇ ਮੁਜ਼ਾਰੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਤਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਸਜ਼ਾਵਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੋਰਦਿਆਂ ਇਸ ਹੱਕੀ ਘੋਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ 2 ਜੂਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀਆਂ 17 ਮਜਦੂਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੱਦੇ ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਹੱਕੀ ਤੇ ਜਾਇਜ਼ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਿੱਲ, ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਹਿਰੀ ਮਾਲੀਆ, ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਜ਼ੇ ਮੁਆਫ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ, ਜਨਤਕ ਤੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਦਾ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਰੋਕੂ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਤੇ ਸਪੈਸ਼ਲ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ 2010 ਰੱਦ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਮਨਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਰੋਸ ਧਰਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ 'ਚ ਅੱਜ ਜਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਸੈਕੜੇ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਦਫਤਰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਧਰਨਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਖੇਤ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਗਿਣਨਯੋਗ ਰਹੀ। ਰੋਸ ਧਰਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਖੇਤ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਲਛਮਣ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੇਵੇਵਾਲਾ, ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ (ਏਕਤਾ) ਦੇ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੋਦਾ ਤੇ ਦਿਹਾਤੀ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਸੂਬਾਈ ਆਗੂ ਜਗਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੱਸੇਆਣਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਮਰਾਜੀ ਮੁਲਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾ ਤਹਿਤ ਹਰੇ ਇਨਕਲਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਗਲਤ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਖੇਤ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਸਿਰ ਦਿਨੋ-ਦਿਨ ਕਰਜੇ ਦੀ ਪੰਡ ਭਾਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਮਜਬੂਰਨ ਖ਼ੁਦਕਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੁਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਸਦਕਾ ਹੀ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਬਿੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਆਫੀ, ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਹਿਰੀ ਮਾਲੀਏ ਦੀ ਮੁਆਫੀ ਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਨ ਡਿਪੂਆਂ ਤੇ ਆਮ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਲਗਭਗ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਬੁਲਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਗਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਮਜਦੂਰਾਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਮੰਨਣ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ ਤਸ਼ਦੱਦ ਦੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਕੰਡਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਉਤਰ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਰੋਸ ਧਰਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਗੁਰਸੰਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ, ਕਿਰਤੀ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਥਾਂਦੇਵਾਲਾ , ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂ ਗੁਰਾਂਦਿੱਤਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਾਗਸਰ, ਬੇਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਈ. ਟੀ. ਟੀ. ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਦੇ ਆਗੂ ਬਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੰਦੂਖੇੜਾ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਖੂਨਣ ਖੁਰਦ, ਗੁਰਜੰਟ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੌਕੇ, ਨਾਨਕ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੰਘੇਵਾਲਾ, ਹਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਦਰੱਸਾ, ਸੁਖਾ ਸਿੰਘ, ਲਖਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਜਗਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਾਗਸਰ ਤੇ ਹਰਬੰਸ ਸਿੰਘ ਕੋਟਲੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਜਦੂਰ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਨੀਤੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਹੱਕੀ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਫੈਸਲਾਕੁੰਨ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਲੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

• ਦਾਂਤੇਵਾੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਬਾਇਲੀ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ 'ਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਜੰਗਲ, ਜਲ, ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਖਣਿਜ਼ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਖੋਹਣ ਲਈ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਸਾੜਨ, ਕਤਲੋਗਾਰਦ ਮਚਾਉਣ, ਉਜਾੜਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਮਹੂਰੀ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਉਪਰ ਛਾਪੇ ਮਾਰਨ ਦਾ ਸਿਲਸਿਲਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ


• ਪੰਜਾਬ ਅੰਦਰ ਹਕੂਮਤੀ ਥਾਪੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਾਤਲੀ ਗਰੋਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਤਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਲੜੀ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦਿਆਂ ਜਨਤਕ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਚਲਣ ਦੀ ਨੀਤੀ ਤਹਿਤ ਸੇਲਬਰਾਹ ਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਲੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਕੁੱਟਣ ਅਤੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਕੇਸ ਮੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਜੇਲ੍ਹੀਂ ਸੁੱਟਣ ਦਾ ਘਿਨੌਣਾ ਕਾਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।


• ਪਿੰਡ ਕੋਟੜਾ ਕੌੜਾ 'ਚ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੇ ਠੇਕੇ ਦਾ ਹੱਕੀ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਉਪਰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਹਿ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਤਲਾਨਾ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨਾ, ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਾਲਿਆਂਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਣਾ ਘੇਰ ਕੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਢੁਕਵੀਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਅਖੀਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਮੁਜ਼ਰਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਗਾਮਾਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਛੱਡਣਾ ਹਾਕਮ ਧੜੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੋਕ-ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਗਲ ਗੂਠਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਇਰਾਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨੰਗਾ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਸਬੂਤ ਹੈ।

OPPOSE ARREST & TORTURE OF COM. HARBHINDER JALAL, DEMAND AN END TO ALL REPRESSIVE MEASURES

COM. HARBHINDER JALAL, BEING PRODUCED BY POLICE IN KHARAR COURT

Harbhinder Singh Jalal, who has been editing a revolutionary Punjabi magazine “CHAMKDA LAL TARA” (Shining Red Star), was arrested by Kharar Police while he was traveling in a bus near Gharuan village. The police alleged him to be the head of Punjab unit of CPI Maoist. A 32 bore pistol and some live cartridges were shown to have been recovered from him.

In police custody Harbhinder was severely tortured and subjected to third degree methods of interrogation. A case under S.10,13,18 & 20 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act; S. 25, 54, 59 of the Arms Act and Section 121, 419, 420, 471 of the IPC has been slapped against him. He was denied the legal assistance of his chosen lawyers. Lok Morcha Punjab, along with his family approached S/Sh. R.S. Bains and Harinder Pal Singh Ishar, Chandigarh based Human Rights lawyers, who moved an application for permission to meet Com Harbhinder in police custody and for his medical examination. The State vigorously opposed this application on the fictitious ground of threat to national security. However the court allowed the advocates to meet him daily in the Police Station between 7 PM to 8 PM and also to get him medically examined every 48 hours from the Civil Hospital.

On 9.5.2011, when Com Harbhinder was produced in court for further remand, dozens of his friends and well-wishers from all over Punjab, came to see him, but the police did not allow them to meet him. His further police remand was sought on the plea that he was to be taken to Ranchi to affect certain recoveries. Subsequently this pretext proved to be false as he was not taken to Ranchi. Perhaps the court’s order permitting his lawyers to meet him everyday in the extended period of remand, acted as a dampener for the police. On 14.5.2011, he was remanded to judicial custody and is now lodged in Ropar Jail.

On 6.5.2011, a heavy contingent of Ropar and Bathinda Police raided his house at Rampura. Finding it locked, the police tried to find its keys from the neighbors, abusing, threatening and misbehaving with them. The people however refused to be cowed down and did not allow the police to search his house in the absence of any of his family members. To terrorize the people, the police raided the houses of two trade unionists living in the locality. Next day, the police party again came early in the morning along with some Municipal Councilors of Rampura City and forcibly entered in and searched Harbhinder’s house in the absence of his family members and any person from the locality. The police took away a computer, a large number of books and some domestic articles. This move was strongly opposed by the democratic mass organizations of the area. Next day a strongly worded statement denouncing the terror tactics of the police was issued jointly by the Bharti Kisan Union ( Dakonda), Technical Services Union, Democratic Teachers Front, and B.K.U. (Ugrahan).

Lok Morcha Punjab, Democratic Front Against Operation Green Hunt Punjab, and a revolutionary paper SURAKH REKHA condemned the arrest and false implication of Harbhinder Jalal in a criminal case. To keep the people informed about this, we utilized the medium of Facebook by posting news items and press statements on it. Now the DFAOGH Punjab has decided to hold Conventions at Chandigarh and Rampura on this issue along with the repressive measures taken at village Selbrah and Kotra Kaurian Wala, against the people opposing opening of liquor vends.

The planting of 32 bore revolver and live cartridges on Harbhinder Jalal, seems to be a part of the Punjab Police’s crude attempt to discredit revolutionary democratic movement in Punjab. Recently the police unearthed a gang of serving police employees and Arms Dealers, supplying country made illicit arms as genuine, by putting fake stamps and markings of reputed arms companies on them. As many as 8 police employees serving in various districts of Punjab have been arrested. The DGP Punjab, with the aid of certain pliable press persons, has been trying to link it with the Maoists, although up till now, no such proof is forthcoming.

Lok Morcha Punjab views the arrest of Com Harbhinder; falsely charging him with unlawful activities, waging war against the Govt, forgery and cheating; subjecting him to third degree torture, and illegal raids at his house and the houses of other trade unionists at Rampura, as atrocious, totally illegal and undemocratic steps, deserving strongest condemnation. These steps are aimed at stifling the political dissent, and ruthlessly crushing of every attempt to organize the people against the policies of liberalization, globalization and privatization, being pursued by the anti-people and anti-national rulers to ensure super profits for the MNCs and their Indian agents, through unhindered exploitation of our rich natural resources. We call upon all democratic people to join us in demanding withdrawal of the criminal case registered against Com Harbhinder Jalal and his unconditional release; putting an end to all repressive measures initiated against revolutionary political and mass activists and the people; and complete halt to neo-liberal economic policies.
